Suman Sourav — building networks that stay fast, secure, and connected.

I work at the intersection of distributed-systems theory and real networked infrastructure: satellite constellations, industrial control systems, and IoT edge devices. My research asks a simple question with hard answers — how do we move information quickly and safely when the network keeps changing underneath us?

Distributed Systems Satellite Networks IoT & Edge-Cloud Systems Cyber-Physical Systems Security

The short version

Why this research matters

Modern infrastructure like satellite mega-constellations, smart grids, IoT fleets, etc. depend on networks whose topology and trust assumptions shift constantly. My work develops the algorithms and detection techniques that keep those networks fast under change and secure under attack.
